This Week in Development
Thursday, April 16th, 2009For this week, I’m primarily focused on fixing bugs and reducing the frequency of the “Oops” errors. I’m sure many of you have experienced the “Oops” errors far too often, so over the next 5 days I’ll be reducing them dramatically.
This weekend will be the first update that will contain a lot of these bug fixes. Then about two days later, a subsequent update will have another round of fixes. So by this time next week, you guys should be crashing far less and I’ll be ready to resume working on more exciting features.

Hi Socians!
Sunday, April 12th, 2009Welcome, Socians, to the SocioTown Blog.
Wohoo! The first post!- and let’s begin with a small introduction on who we (the writers) are and some other things we will be doing on here.
There will be two writers on this blog: Chris Evans (known as Cevans in-game) and myself, Deasy. Chris Evans is the lead developer of the town, and the person who continues to add new features for Socians. I, on the other hand, am the Community Manager of SocioTown who’s in charge of coordinating special events, writing the weekly newsletter “SocioTown Journal”, and answering emails/PM’s regarding trouble among the Socians.
A few segments you will find here on this blog include minor and major updates, event playback, and fan work. So, if you have any fanart, fanvideos, etc., related to Sociotown, send them in to blog@sociotown.com and if it appears on the blog, we’ll send you 25 SoBucks as a thank you for being a supportive Socian!
