This lobby on the first floor of the apartment is furnished as if it’s another apartment room. There are a couple of beds, a few sitting areas, and a plasma t.v. This lobby was able to use the whole floorspace provided.

Be sure to head over to the Event Dome this weekend starting at 1pm today for a Winter Wonderland! We will be giving you guys a sneak peek of a new region. There’s still need to be work on the region, but as of now you are able to view the landscape of the place.
The Dome will be open this whole weekend.
*edit: Please clear your temporary files before entering the dome or you might not be able to get in.
Also, in order to play snowball, you must press Spacebar to gather up the snow and press Shift to throw the ball.
As you may have noticed, the front page now features screenshots of Sociotown activities. Well, we want to feature more!
Vanisher suggested we do a Screenshot of the Week, and Chris and I think that’s a great idea! The best sreenshot of each week will be featured on the front page of the site and will also get a gold medal placed in his or her profile page, thereby showing others that you are a great photographer!
The first Screenshot of the Week deadline will be next Sunday the 27th, and will continue every Sunday afterwards. Please send your screenshots to deasy@sociotown.com.
Also, I would really like a group photo of as many Socians as possible, and feature that on the front page. This will be scheduled on Saturday the 26th, 10:30 am Sociotown time. We’ll meet around the front of the Event Dome and LowMart. I hope to see you there!
JohnVito’s apartment is clearly defined to be one that is grungy. You can see this from the many Halloween decorations he has placed around his room. The setup is also quite interesting, because as soon as someone enters, there is the kitchen.

There seem to be some concerns regarding how the process of Fashion Spotlight and Room of the Week are chosen.
For Fashion Spotlight, I choose those who combine outfits in a different manner. Take JesseMary:
Her outfit consists of bold patterns, and the colors are consistent. It also helps that the outfit matches her hair. Usually I will not put the spotlight on someone who is wearing an article of clothing that just came out.
With the Room of the Week, I choose base on the amount of furniture, the cohesion of the furniture, and the overall style.
Most of the Socians that are highlighted are those who have been residents longer, and this is logical. Those who have been around longer tend to have more diverse furniture to showcase, and more clothes to mix and match with. Therefore they usually have more unique styles.
Of course, you guys are more than welcome to nominate either yourself or other Socians that you believe deserve to be showcased. Either PM me or email me at deasy@sociotown.com and I will consider your nomination.

DsnyDeb’s apartment is pretty spacious. She has added three additional rooms, two of which became a bedroom and a bathroom. Her apartment is filled with potted plants, allowing fresh air to circulate freely. Nice job.
