When you log in, you automatically find yourself in the Town Center. However, you are able to mark a place as 'Set as Home', which allows you to automatically be placed there when you log in. Only when the orange 'Set as Home' button shows up are you able to make your mark
Set as Home: Click on the orange button on the top left hand corner with the picture of a house. Usually, when you are near a door, the 'Set as Home button' appears.
